HETO IYUNG SCRIPT FOR ENGLISH1

Rox: No… No… No… I don’t agree with you.
JP: I don’t agree with you either. Still, I am insisting that we need more people like Fr. Ed in office.
Rox: Come on, don’t be fooled by his so-called “holiness.” Once he decided to run, he is now one of them.
JP: But at least he’s the better alternative.
Rox: And the start of church intervention in state affairs. If he’s a priest then he should be at the church; not in the provincial capitol.
JP: It is just like saying that you as a student, should stay as a student forever.
Rox: I didn’t say that.
JP: Well it sounds like you’re saying it.
Rox: Aww.. you’re just getting too emotional on this.
JP: Fine. But I believe he could change the way government is run in this province.
Rox: But he could do it even he is not in office.
JP: Being in office would give him the flexibility of doing things that are limited when he’s a priest.
Rox: Excuse me, but a lot of priests have transformed communities even though they’re not elected.
JP: But it cannot prosper because the problem still lies in the system.
Rox: But again, why some communities have transformed permanently despite your so-called problems in the system?
JP: Then site specific communities.
Rox: Uhmm… I couldn’t remember one… but…
JP: Oh see, you cannot give factual info to support you.
Rox: But I know somewhere out there…
JP: Somewhere out there lies nothing…
Aya: Hey guys, wazzup? Sorry I’m late, I just checked out something at the library, so what’s new?
JP: Oh nothing much, we’re just discussing who are we going to vote this coming elections.
Rox: I told you; let’s vote Mrs. Pineda; she knows much better than your holy candidate.
JP: Don’t put my candidate down. Yes, your candidate know much better than Fr. Ed but he can absolutely make a change in the government.
Aya: Wait a sec!! Are you guys talking about Mr. Ed Panlilio? As in Fr. Ed of that certain parish here?
Rox: Yeah! Who else would it be? Duh…
JP: Don’t you know that he is running as governor this coming election?
Aya: Really? I can’t believe it!!!
Rox: Yeah! I can’t believe it either! Imagine a priest as a governor? Duh! What does he know about politics?
JP: Hold it!!! You haven’t seen him perform his future duties but you are already judging him? It doesn’t mean that you’re a priest you cannot be part of the political world. I’m sure he can do it.
Rox: Hah! You are only supporting him because your mom is a devotee of his parish.
JP: Hey! Don’t say that. It has nothing to do with it. I support Fr. Ed because he wouldn’t do any under the table matters lie your candidate would do.
Rox: You don’t have any proof to say that. You are basing purely on accusations!
Aya: Hold on guys! Can you please stop fighting? Fighting wouldn’t settle anything.
(Fr. Ed enters)
Aya: Hey guys isn’t that Fr. Ed?
Rox: Yeah, what is he doing here?
(Fr. Ed approaches)
Fr. Ed: Good morning my children. Don’t forget me in the coming elections. Ed Panlilio for governor.
Rox: If you don’t mind, can I ask what can you do to our community? What came to your mind that made you decide to run?
JP: Hey! Could you give some respect? He’s still a priest remember?
Fr. Ed: My dear, I know that people are doubting my intentions. They would say that I got no experience. Yes I have no experience in corruption. My only experience was that I served God and the people wholeheartedly. Never I gave up my duties. And now, it is not only I who would clean up our province; we would be the one who would do it. All I ask from you is your support. I’m sorry I’ve said a lot. See you around.
(Fr. Ed leaves)
JP: Wow, I’m really going to vote for him.
Rox: Uhm… yeah… it’s really different when he’s near you.
JP: So how about that? Changed your mind?
Rox: Well, I’m having second thoughts now. But I still need more time to think about it.
JP: That’s good. I hope you would change your mind. By the way, I’ve heard that he’s going to have a sortie here. Would you like to come?
Rox: Count me in. Wait a minute… Hey Aya! What happened to you?
Aya: Oh… I’m sort of starstrucked by his aura. He’s really a church person. He speaks from the heart and you can feel his good intentions.
JP: So would you like to come too?
Aya: oh sure.
JP: Let’s go then.
JP: There is he. He is about to start his speech.
Rox: Let’s hurry!
Aya: Wait for me!!!
Fr. Ed: (speech)
*I would show pictures of his proclamation and explain to them what happened.
*Next would be the explanation of Aya.
Sorry for the delay.

From the site:
Silence can say more than a thousand words.
This day shall unite us all about this unbelievable painful & shocking event and show some respect and love to those who lost their loved ones.
On April 30th 2007, the Blogosphere will hold a One-Day Blog Silence in honor of the victims at Virginia Tech. More then 30 died at the US college massacre.
But it´s not only about them. Many bloggers have responded and asked about all the other victims of our world. All the people who die every day. What about them?
This day can be a symbol of support to all the victims of our world!
All you have to do is spread the word about it and post the graphic on your blog on 30th April 2007. No words and no comments. Just respect, reflect and empathy.
